When you have an IT issue and have to contact someone for help. Do you know what they will likely ask you first? Yep. It's true. They'll probably ask, "Is it plugged in?" That will probably be followed by a second question, "Is it turned on?"

That's right. It happens enough that they know to ask if you've plugging in and turned on your equipment. Nothing about that slick, new, up to date computer will work when it isn't powered on.

Some days, if we'll be honest, we realize our thoughts are a little scattered, and we lack focus. We have dreamt for big things, a growing business and a solid future, but if anyone checked our daily activities they would not line up with our goals. I know I am NOT the only one.

It almost always comes from the same source: we are unplugged. We are not powered on.

When I can't corral my thoughts into cohesive action, when I'm unsure what to do next, when I lack inspiration or motivation to take the next step, it's almost always because I am unplugged from strong places and strong people. It's why our sales meetings, call nights, podcasts, and books are critical to our continued success. Skipping these critical components, not plugging in, will lead to limping along at best and the crash-and-burn at worst. It equates to no fuel in your amazing car. No real food or clean water for your body. Not turning on your laptop. You will NOT get very far.

If you've indulged in unplugging from the things that will keep you committed, energized and achieving, RECOMMIT today. PLUG IN! Your power sources are still available to you; it's up to you to take advantage of them.
