The Fallen Heroes 6TH Annual Golf Classic was held on April 28th, 2015 at the TimberCreek Golf Course in Daphne, AL. This year's classic benefited a local nonprofit, Under His Wings

The tournament registered 220 players and had nearly 100 spectators throughout the day. With over 30 sponsors, the fundraiser raised $60,000 and counting to go towards the building of a new home for Under His Wings. The family-friendly day featured a BBQ cookout, giveaways and live music from Paw Paw's Medicine Cabinet.
Nathan Cox, CEO of Battle Plan Capital and former Marine Officer, began the Fallen Heroes Golf Tournament in 2010 in order to raise funds to build the Fallen Heroes Memorial at Battleship Memorial Park. When the project was completed in September 2015, he decided to redirect the efforts towards Under His Wings. This nonprofit organization helps girls in crisis have a place of refuge. The money raised will go towards the building of a new home for these young women.

"I'd like to thank everyone involved for making this year not only our best turnout to date, but also the most fun," said Cox. "The folks at Under His Wings were truly overwhelmed by the support shown by all involved and we are excited about getting started on their new home. The biggest challenge at this point will be surpassing it next year."
Under His Wings was founded in 2008 by Fairhope OB/GYN, Dr. Lorena Hunt. She became aware of the lack of options for families struggling with girls in crisis. Hunt found too many gaps between the well-intentioned net of school counseling, church support groups, mental health agencies and court programs, and started the organization. Under His Wings opened its doors in 2013 as a place for girls to find refuge, renewal and a restored relationship with God.
