Ron Cuny started building homes in 1995 and, with his wife Amy, founded ARK Builders, LLC in 1998 to deliver custom, efficient homes grounded in family values. Ron is the licensed builder and owner who oversees every project from site to finish, driven by a simple goal: create spaces where families can relax, connect, and “just be.” Amy is also an owner and leads design and decorating for ARK’s custom spec homes, bringing a refined eye for livability and style. Their children — Andrew (builder and project manager) and Kelsey (marketing and administration director) — round out a hands-on family team that keeps client care personal and accountable.

ARK Builders focuses on smart, functional, energy-conscious construction without sacrificing charm. We work with locally drawn and engineered plans, partner with trusted regional trades, and source custom cabinetry from a local craftsman while relying on our proprietary trimsman to deliver signature finishing details. Our process centers on listening first, setting realistic budgets and timelines, and providing relaxed yet structured guidance through every phase of construction. Ron maintains an open-door policy for clear, timely communication so clients never feel left in the dark. From initial concept and engineered plans to the final walk-through, ARK builds dependable, efficient homes designed to last — and to hold the everyday moments that matter.
