Karen Means

With over 37 years of real estate experience, Karen Means is passionate about serving the Gulf Coast community she now calls home. As part of The Means Team alongside her husband, Steve, Karen recently celebrated 10 wonderful years with Bellator Real Estate — helping clients buy and sell along Alabama’s beautiful beaches and beyond.

Originally from LaCrosse, Wisconsin, Karen has called Alabama home for many years — first in Gadsden, and now in Gulf Shores, or as she calls it, Paradise. Her love for real estate is only matched by her love for the Gulf Coast lifestyle — friendly people, top-rated schools, exciting community events, and of course, fresh seafood!

Karen stays actively involved in her community through Gulf Shores Methodist Church, volunteering with Re-Sale Heaven (the church’s outreach thrift store), and enjoying fitness classes and friendships at the Bodenhamer Center. Known for her green thumb, she loves spending time in her yard landscaping and gardening — and is always happiest with her hands in the dirt or her toes in the sand.

Karen’s heart for service, deep local knowledge, and commitment to her clients have made her a trusted resource for buyers and sellers along the coast. She’s proud to help others call this special place home.
