About Me
Bud Malec is an expert real estate advisor with Bellator Real Estate’s Eastern Shore office. Born and raised in Mobile, Bud has deep roots in the community he proudly serves. A 1973 graduate of McGill Institute, he went on to earn a BS in Business with a major in Marketing from the University of South Alabama.
Before embarking on a successful real estate career, Bud gained extensive sales and management experience in advertising, medical, financial, and industrial sectors. In 2003, he earned his real estate license and secured his broker's license in 2006.
Bud has over two decades of commercial real estate and development experience, including a specialization in older building sales. His charitable work includes dedicated service to the Ronald McDonald House in Mobile, as well as contributions to St. Jude’s and Shriner’s. Bud has a heart for children and their families, embodying the Bellator tag line “B More. Give More.”
Currently residing in Baldwin County while serving both sides of Mobile Bay, Bud brings a wealth of knowledge and a personal touch to every transaction. Married for 43 years, he cherishes his family, which includes two children and four grandchildren. Outside of work, Bud enjoys traveling, fishing, and playing golf.
